Original poem: True Wisdom is rare

My mind is a storm it is never calm
My thoughts drift away with the foul winds hauls
My heart beats as the oceans waves crash
I can see the lighthouse but it seems so far. I can't reach
I am the sea drowning the victim, and the victim is me
Doesn't make sense to you?
Enter my mind and you might see
No-one can hurt you unless you let them do so
No-one can sting you if you don't concentrate on the pain
Remember that next time fiery arrows are shot right at you
I have the power to make them pierce or break.
A smile can make millions of hurts die
Stir you, warm you, when you're freezing alive
A kind word, a little help can stop wars.
A big hug, a little kiss can mend family hurts
True wisdom I share with you
Everyone hurts and that includes you
Why not break the cycle this world has created?
Be nice, try it!
So much easier and a lot less effort!

Original Poem: Running

How could you leave me?
I love you so much
I am still longing, longing for your touch
You meant so much to me
I still want you
Even though you hurt me
Forgive and move on
I can't believe after all this time
Me and us, could mean so little
How could you forget something that made us both so happy?
How can you put aside something so sacred and nice
Used to dream about you & me
Living together, used to say maybe
I can't believe it's over
I still feel connected to you
It didn't work out
It's hard to forget you
I love you, Yes I still do
Even though I ignore you now
My heart is still bleeding for you
I've got a terrible sickness
With you unfortunetely, as the only cure
It feels like I'll never get better
I'll just die like this
Even death would be better than the pain right now in me
A terrible poison. A longing for you
A terrible craving, being told it won't do
I have you in my memory
But my heart still wants more
I'm running, running from my feelings
I can't help it, so sad I can't handle it
Want to escape, live a new life, new experience
Need the freedom, need a new heart
I'm running, running, I'm running
Thanks for setting me free
It will be better
I'm now, just me
Not part of someone else
You broke that string
I'm Running, I'm Running, I'm Running
My heart won't be broken forever
It will heal soon
I've got many who care
Unlike you they'll stay by me
A FINAL GOODBYE, A FINAL GOODBYE
You'll see me Running
The air n my face
Tears there no more, just a smile
I'll pray for you, we might even be friends
But for now I'm just running
Running

Other poems: Christopher Brennan

Because She Would Ask Me Why I Loved Her
a poem by Christopher Brennan

If questioning would make us wise
No eyes would ever gaze in eyes;
If all our tale were told in speech
No mouths would wander each to each.

Were spirits free from mortal mesh
And love not bound in hearts of flesh
No aching breasts would yearn to meet
And find their ecstasy complete.

For who is there that lives and knows
The secret powers by which he grows?
Were knowledge all, what were our need
To thrill and faint and sweetly bleed?.

Then seek not, sweet, the "If" and "Why"
I love you now until I die.
For I must love because I live
And life in me is what you give.

My Favourite quote:

I love you not only for what you are,
but for what I am when I am with you.
- Elizabeth Barrett Browning -

Joke: Gender comparisons

1.NAMES
If Laurie, Linda, Elizabeth and Barbara go out for lunch, they will call each other Laurie, Linda, Elizabeth and Barbara
If Mark, Chris, Eric and Tom go out, they will affectionately refer to each other as Fat Boy, Godzilla, Peanut-Head and Scrappy.

2.EATING OUT
When the bill arrives, Mark, Chris, Eric and Tom will each throw in a $20, even though it's only for $32.50. None of them will have anything smaller and none will actually admit they want change back.
When the women get their bill, out come the pocket calculators.

3.MONEY
A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs
A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn't need, but it's on sale.

4.BATHROOMS
A man has five items in his bathroom: a toothbrush, shaving cream, razor, a bar of soap, and a towel from the Marriott.
The average number of items in the typical woman's bathroom is 337. A man would not be able to identify most of these items.

5.ARGUMENTS
A woman has the last word of any argument.
Anything a man says after that...is the beginning of a new argument.

6.CATS
Women love cats...Men say they love cats, but when women aren't looking, men kick cats.

7.FUTURE
A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband.
A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.

8.SUCCESS
A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend.
A successful woman is one who can find such a man.

9.MARRIAGE
A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn't.
A man marries a woman expecting that she won't change, and she does.

10.DRESSING UP
A woman will dress up to go shopping, water the plants, empty the garbage, answer the phone, read a book, and get the mail.
A man will dress up for weddings and funerals.

11.NATURAL
Men wake up as good looking as they went to bed
Woman somehow deteriorate during the night.

12.OFFSPRING
Ah, children. A woman knows all about her children. She knows about dentist appointments and romances, best friends, favourite books, secret fears and hopes and dreams. A man is vaguely aware of some short people living in the house.

13.THOUGHT OF THE DAY
Any married man should forget his mistakes...There's no use in two people remembering the same thing.

AND FINALLY.....
A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word. An earlier discussion had led to an argument and neither of them wanted to concede their position.
As they passed a barnyard of mules, jack asses, and pigs, the husband > asked sarcastically , "Relative of yours?" "Yep," the wife replied, "in-laws" lol

PS: I am extremely busy nowadays but as soon as I can I 'll get back to at least some of you. Sorry ):

Original Poem: In my memory

A terrible hurt
A terrible memory
A terrible sorrow
Burnt for eternity
Eyes so brown
Lips so red
Why does loving you
Make me so dead?
I can't forget what
Didn't end well
Can't laugh off
What wasn't funny
I have to forget
But I just can't
Can't erase what
Was never mine
I close my eyes
Wishing you were here
To mend a heart so broken and
Teared
To drench the thirst from my dying lips
To feed my hunger so piercling deep
To see your eyes and read your lips
Just to know you still love me
Your so near yet so far away
That's what I heard you once say
I love you so, so much, more then you know
My soul I would give
Just to see you love
My life is worth nothing compared to yours
That's why it hurts so much to see your hurts.
A love so pure, so honest, so faithful
So burning
A love so kind, so gentle,
So beautifully yearning
A love above all loves before
Patient, forgiving and understanding
That's why I'll love you now
Yesterday
Tomorrow
& Forever
& that's how it'll stay.
& always
In my memory…………….

Original poem: Boy of my life

Thinking about you
Looking for you
Wishing you!
Emotions drive me to think strange things
I love you?
I'm kind of scared too
But I know I do
It's funny
I can't help it!
You're so amazing It's hard not to!
In the present I want to be with you
In the past I want to be with you
In he future I want to be with you!
Is there any time I don't want you?
Phone bills show we can't get enough of each other
I'm sitting right next to you while I write this poem, you tried to read but I stopped
you!, my heart is yours and it tells me I love you!
I'll always love you, you know
You're perfect to me
I'm your girl, you're my fantasy
Never want to leave
Want it to stay the same
Like I the way it is
You're my world awake and asleep
So lucky to have it wouldn't change it a bit
To hold you, it is a savoured gift
When we kiss its amazing, Electric chills all over my body
Goosebumps, running up and down
Never let go, stay here for all time
Feel your breath on my neck
Feel your mouth the words I love you Jen
I hold your hand I will not part it
An eternal circle only death shall part it
All I know is I love you
Your hair your eyes your body all belongs to me
I know you feel the same
And that's just amazing
Love is a powerful thing makes people act strangely
A powerful ecstasy pumping my veins
Making me doze blurring my brain
I can't think properly when I'm with you
I do stupid things I guess it's sign I like you!
A high that will never die because I know you're memory will always stay mine
I'll love you forever boy of my life

Original Poem: Forbidden Love

My love for you is like the rivers flow
ever going, a heavy burden for my soul
tears of sadness fall down as
memories of you & me are found

----------

My heart breaks & aches, as I long for you
I miss you dearly for my love is true
I love the sound of your name
I could say over and over again
I love your smile, I love your eyes, I even
love your strange mind, to me is perfect in
every way

----------

Time before I've tricked myself
Saying that I was over you
You no longer control my life, making me sad & blue
Just I think that I'm OK that I could
stand on my own two feet
You'll walk past with your sweet smile and
I will crash back down in my knees

----------

If only you could see my feelings hurts
for then maybe you will understand
I'll paint a picture map of my heart
sealing the key
come open me up

----------

Here's my world, here's my heart
here's the vein that was cut
infectious blood pouring out
infecting every being insight

----------

I can't breath, I'm suffocating
steady, bit by bit, I'm dying
strangulation not air can get through
for the only force that would work is you

----------

Forbidden love
